Another trip to Jelly Rolls.....

No trip to Jelly Rolls is complete without a
photo shoot on the "Big Comfy Couch"!

Terri and I planned a weekend getaway
with our husbands compliments of our
boss Cheryl.

We thought it would be fun to do something
different than what we would normally do so.....

we tried out Wonderworks. If you ever have a
chance to go to this place, DO IT! We had a blast!!

We spent almost 4 hours there and did not do
everything that they had to do. We are definitely
going again and will bring Lance with us.


Here you sat in a booth and it replicated
what it would feel like if you were in an
actual earthquake.

These were huge bubble makers.

Eric is lying on a clear plastic table full of holes.

Then nails come up through every hole and you

are literally lying on a bed of nails. Very cool.

Frank was the only one who could lift his own

weight....go figure.

need to get the ring from one end to the other

without touching it or it lets out a LOUD buzz.

Summer Storms......

It is that time of year again.

We go from dry conditions with fires breaking
out everywhere to daily afternoon thunderstorms
I just made it home before this one hit.


It was a doozy!!!

Father's Day......

Roll-o's for breakfast??? Hardly! Crepes with
strawberries & whipped cream!

Mr & Mrs Ater........

Dan & Rhonda got married in March & this
was the first chance we have had to see them
since they became Mr. & Mrs. Ater.

We got together at Lexi for a martini & then
went back to the house to play cards so they
could see Lance.

Dave, Jean & Jeff joined us.

It was good to see them so happy!

14 years ago today........

Another trip to Busch Gardens.......

A couple of weeks ago we took Lance to Busch Gardens.

The weather was perfect and everything was in bloom.

Lory Landing is our favorite spot. I'm not sure

what it is with Lance and I and birds. We just

love them!!

You don't see this everyday. An albino peacock.

Maybe if I keep my toes out of the water I will be safe.

We walked up to this area just as they were feeding the

flamingo's and the man asked Lance if he wanted to hand

feed them. He was thrilled!

This wart hog was a trip. While we were standing there

talking about him he walked into his little pool and worked

and worked at the drain plug. When he finally got it out

the water came out the side and made a puddle of mud

which he immediately flopped down into!

Watch out Lance!!!!!!

I didn't say they were happy hats.

although he did like this one.

Frank had to ride the roller coasters alone.

He is in the 2nd car with his hands in the air.

This elephant was cracking us up. She was drinking

water from the hose and dancing to get more carrots

and apples.

The new section call Jungala is open now.

It is an area mainly for children.

They had several beautiful Tigers.

Frank thought his ship had come in!!

This turtle is one smart cookie!!!

Kris turned 40 first!!!!

.....I have 60 days to go!

Last Saturday we tricked Kris into thinking that she was
going out on the town for her birthday but what she didn't
know was that we were all showing up at her house with
food, drinks & birthday cake for a surprise party!!

She had no idea!

Her new bra!! It says "Help, they've fallen & they
