100 Days & Counting!!!!

A few of us went to the Red Head Martini Bar to watch
the Glory as she set sail for another week.

It was a beautiful afternoon.

We all enjoyed martini's & cigars.

Laurie had one of their holiday specials, it was

a candy cane something or other & mine was
made with eggnog.

Here she comes!!

Some of us were more excited than others.

She is a BIG girl!!!! Wow!! Something that actually
makes me look small!!!

Sam & Jason were late, but they did see her leave
from the parking lot.

When the Disney ship set sail our waitress brought
us big Mickey Mouse gloves so we could wave.
It made it a little hard to drink, especially for Jason
who only has one arm!!

Lovin' It!!!

Lance moves right along on his new scooter!!!

Merry Christmas........

Another Christmas & another year of having to wake Lance up.
On mornings that we want him to sleep in he never does!!

It took him a few minutes to get going.

Lance made this ornament at school out of a light bulb.

Aunt Patty keeps him up to date with a new
Notre Dame shirt. (his dad too)

Lance bought me this beautiful necklace at the
school store for a dollar!!!

I must have been a very good girl last year
because this is what I got from Frank!!!

Mr. Lance got an electric scooter from
all of his grandparents & Uncle Michael & Jonathan.
He was thrilled!!!

Santa brought a remote controlled dragonfly!

Frank got a ton of Dolphin stuff.........
they have been so horrible this season
that everything was 50% off!!! (just kidding)

Lance also got a life insurance policy for Christmas
& along with it he got a good neighbear.

Frank has trouble handling the gift wrap mess!!!

Frank was the first to try out the new scooter!!

Here Comes Santa Claus.........

Getting ready for Santa requires a lot of work.
First you have to put out the "Magic Reindeer Food"
which is a mixture of oatmeal & glitter.

The smell of the oats & the moonlight reflecting off
of the glitter will guide them right to your house.

Then you need to put out some carrots
& a bucket of water.

This is the most important part.

Putting out the cookies & milk for
Santa & his helper.

They just about finished them all!!!

There were crumbs all over the floor also.

A Special Visit.......

Later Sunday afternoon Mary & Jason
came over with Bonnie & Clyde.

They are really strong & give Mary a

workout.

Look at this face......too sweet!

Time With Good Friends.........

Last Sunday we hosted a pot luck brunch.

Annette, J.J., Sarah & Jack; Jean & Jeff;
Terri, Eric & "Baby" J.J; Mary & the "Milhams'"
were all here to have a mini Christmas celebration.

We started the gift giving with Jack.

(I was just a little excited)

He is sooooo cute!!!

Jean & Jeff enjoying a Mimosa.

J.J. got an I-Fish.

How can a Dolphin fan look so happy???
(Must be the eggnog)

I love these two pictures.

Stupid Friend Tricks!!!

O.K. I'm sure that you have heard of stupid pet tricks. Well.......
this is Dave. He has his own "special" talent.

He can tie a knot in a cherry stem only using his tongue.

There it goes..............

come on Dave, you can do it.........

There you have it. Pretty impressive, huh??
and....that's all I have to say about that!

Frank's Work Christmas Party........

was on Saturday night.

The food was fantastic, lobster tail & filet, salad,
veggies, potato, & 9 different desserts to choose
from.

They kept replacing bottles of wine on the table
as they were emptied. Frank must not have told
them that I was coming!!!

Adam & Janice....looking great, as always!

No party would be complete without Frank

getting out on the dance floor to do the
Electric Slide!!

Beautiful!!!!!

This is my Great-Niece Anna. She is the 3 month
old daughter of my Nephew Bobby.

She is literally "picture perfect"!!!

Busch Gardens.........

I forgot to go back & take a picture of this tree at night. It was so pretty. The lights were purple, blue & green.

Lance had no problem getting into the hippo's mouth, but a lot of
trouble getting out. Frank to the rescue!!

Frank's favorite spot.

Beautiful!

The real Komodo Dragon was bigger than the fake one.

Lance's favorite spot.

Gotta love the colors!

These birds are bigger than Chardonnay
but a lot lighter. Good thing too, because sometime we would have 5 or 6 on us at the same time. (& they did not leave us any "presents")

My boys. I love this picture!

Most of the animals were out & about.

Good thing no one had clipped his toenails!!!

Coming............
Coming.........
Oh, boy! I see it! Yummo!
All done.

Day & Night.......

We finally got our tree up. I don't think it looks like the same tree
in the day light.

Crazy.

Cookie time........

Last Saturday Jesse & I spent 8 hours making 64 dozen
cookies at my house. We had a great time!

Maple drop cookies....yummmmmmm.

We were very busy!

Here are the finished products!

The prettiest tree topper........

Enough said!

How to get around........

Frank had never been on a subway & was a little confused.
Good thing he had Michael with him!

Chinatown........

We took the subway to Canal Street which is where you
can buy all of the designer knock-off's.

This guy was playing the sax with his case open for cash.

Most things in New York are very expensive, but
at this open fish market the lobsters were only
3 for $24!!!!!

This was just outside the Chinese
restaurant that we had lunch at.

The BEST Chinese food that I have had in years!!!

More to see.......

The Lady Liberty......

Battery Park, in front of the Statue.....

This sculpture stood in the lobby of one of the towers

and is now a memorial.

Site where the towers stood. Very sad.

This was the church next to the towers
that didn't get one ounce of damage.
Unbelievable!

The must see's in Manhattan................

The Flat Iron building.........

Madison Square Garden........

NBC Building....see the guard rails for Good Morning America.

Macy's.....It takes up the entire block!!!!

The Empire State Building........

Issa.........

This is Jonathan's baby, Issa.

This dog dresses better than I do!!!

He really likes New York bagels!

.....and Frank!

and we started walking.........

through Central Park.............

it was so beautiful...........

Alice in Wonderland sculpture.

"The Fountain"

I couldn't keep up with the "boys"
they were struttin' their stuff.

and I was freezing!!!!

Tavern on the Green......

This place is beautiful!! (but very expensive!!)

We went to Tavern on the Green for brunch. I had french toast, 1 slice with blueberries for ONLY $27.00. Frank had eggs Benedict for the low price of $50.00!! Everything was wonderful & you are definitely pay for the atmosphere.

We had a great time & then we took a stroll through Central Park. It was beautiful!!

Michael enjoying his breakfast.

The city behind the Tavern.

Chandeliers in the entrance.

After spending $209.00 on breakfast, Franks pockets were empty!!
