It's 5 a.m. Sunday morning in New York City........

......& Frank & I are WIDE awake like two little kids on Christmas morning!

I have use of Micheal's laptop but we can't figure out how to load my pictures. (so they will be added later) He's trying to tell me that my camera is outdated & I suggested since he was the one complaining about it that maybe he should get me a new one! Subtle, huh?

We arrived here at 3:10 & couldn't get to our luggage fast enough. JFK was as smooth as Orlando just not as pretty. We stepped outside into the 40 degree weather & got right into a cab. For the small fee of $56 we were on our way to Michael & Jonathan's place. It took about 10 minutes before the city came in to full view & all I can say is WOW!

The first place of interest, we saw from the cab, was Shea Stadium.

As we pulled up to the corner of 90th & 2nd Michael & Jonathan were there waiting for us. They both look fantastic, as usual.

We headed up to their apartment, which is beautiful, & then up to the roof for an unbelievable view. You can even see the Empire State & Chrysler buildings.

From the roof you can see into Star Jones' apartment. This portrait is hanging at the top of their stairs.

After a bottle of wine we went back in to get ready to go out.
We had dinner at a cute little Mexican place & went to the "Duplex" to watch a piano/comedy/sing-along show.

I am not sure why Michael Meyers was standing out front, but as you can see, I was not his favorite person either!!
We had a great time. Jonathan bought me their CD & after the show they came over, had a drink with us & signed it for me. They have an assistant that they do not pay so they call him "Slave Michael".

When we got back to the apartment we were back on the roof for champagne & a cigar with a breathtaking view!

As for today, I know that we are having brunch at Tavern on the Green but I don't know what else Michael has up his sleeve.

ALWAYS a great time!!!

We went to Orlando with Terri & Eric. We poked around the "Masters of the Arts" festival, had dinner at the House of Blues & then headed to the Boardwalk to spend the evening at Jellyrolls.

Lake Buena Vista right after sunset.

We love the "Big Comfy Couch". It make us all seem very small.
After a few laughs on the couch, we head down to Jellyrolls.

Scotty doing his impersonation of Kermit the Frog
singing Rainbow Connection.

I got their autographs for Patty to put in her scrapbook.

Ray leading the way for Jimmy Buffet's "Fins".

Ray doing his version of "Baby's got back"!!
Too funny!!
Frank in the Conga line, not very happy!!

A new neighbor..........

Last Tuesday Frank called Lance & I out to the road where he parks his car. In front of it, all coiled up, was a corn snake. I asked him to move it onto the grass so it would not get run over.

When we got home that evening it was still right where he had put it, so I had him move it into our front bushes. On Saturday it was still there.
Terri had come over to scrapbook on Saturday & I asked her what her thoughts were. We decided that since it was in the front, which is the north side of the house & always in the shade, that it was probably cold. So, I took a pair of tongs, even though it is not a poisonous snake, & moved it to the back patio in the sun. As of this morning she is still there.
She moves from the patio to up in the jasmin plant but she is still hanging around.

I called someone who knows a bit about snakes & she said that it is probably getting ready to shed & she should be fine.

She's really pretty & not bothering us, so I guess we will just leave her be for now.

Breast cancer walk......

Several people donated money to the walk that I was supposed to do. (I threw my back out the night before) What they didn't know was their names were put into a drawing to win prizes.

I was thrilled when Terri told me that 2 of my people had won. Jonathan won 1st prize & Dave won 2nd.
I sent Jonathan an email to let him know & to see how he wanted me to ship it. He thought it was great that he had won but asked that I keep the prize!!
I was thrilled!! It is a huge basket filled with bath & foot products.
Merry Christmas to me from Jonathan!!!

Thanks Honey!!!

A new receptionist for State Farm..........

No one could believe that I showed up for work
dressed like this!!

Cheryl's face was priceless & Kris & Rhonda

couldn't look at me with out cracking up.

I think the best reaction that I got was from Kevin.
He came in the front door of the office expecting a
"new receptionist" & jolted back when he saw me!!!

He took my picture with his phone so it will pop
up when I call. I think he may have a thing for
trailer trash!!!
