Lance had to write a report about someone famous &
portray that person in an oral report.
He chose Leonardo da Vinci.
This was the easiest & least expensive costume I have ever done.
He had the hat from last years costume, the shirt is the one I use
for the 50's dance, the robe is mine, the socks are Nana's, the
shoes are Eric's, the canvas has a painting on it already & we
just covered it with da Vinci's paintings, that palette was from
last year & the wig & beard were $8.
Lance as Leonardo da Vinci............PRICELESS!!!

I hate him, I hate him, I hate him........
I'm sorry, but there is something wrong with a king that just stands there & stares. It is just WRONG! It is creepy & I think the people who made the commercial with him just standing outside of the window have something wrong with them. Having those poor little birds & animals around him does NOT make him any more pleasant.
I adore horror movies & have been to Universal's Halloween Horror Nights twice & NOTHING scares me more than that dang Burger King!!!
Dave thinks that it is really funny & has the Burger King's face come up on his cell phone when I call him but now he has gone too far. The dork went out & actually paid money to purchase the entire "king" costume.
He came up behind me & I lost it!
He was begging me to look at him, I just couldn't do it!

It's not scary when it is flat.
I don't like it, I don't like it, I don't like it!!!!!

I wonder if it is worth it......
Yesterday was the first of the four games that Frank has to wear one of my Dallas shirts. He put it on just as the game started. About 20 minutes into the game I told him to take it off & that his Miami bad mojo was rubbing off on the Cowboys. After he took it off we started to do a little better then half way through the last quarter he decided to put it back on. I was freaking out because right after he put it back on the Patriots scored back to back touchdowns!
I don't know if this shirt thing is such a great idea.

A trip to the Big Apple.........
I spoke to my mother yesterday & got very little information about the trip except that they had a great time & the weather was wonderful. Well, those who know me know that I like details. So.......I called Michael & boy oh boy did I get details. Here they are in his words.
Good morning! OK, here are the events of the weekend.
Arrived at 12:30 on Friday afternoon.
Went back to our apartment and talked, drank wine & looked into Starr Jones apartment from the roof.
Dinner plans were at 5 at the Rainbow Room on the 65th floor of the NBC building. Window table looking south directly at The Empire State Building.
8:00 Broadway show "Mama Mia"...really great, 4th row orchestra left.
Home after to get ready for Saturday.
11am tour of ABC HOME(saw Todd English on the way)
Quick visit with a cousin of Yvette's on the way to ground zero for a few pictures.
Lunch at a deli in the Financial District then on to the Statue of Liberty.

Upon returning home, a quick change of dress then onto dinner at a local restaurant.
Home for dessert which Jonathan had picked up from one of our favorite places in the city "Lady M"(Google it and look at the Crepe layered Cake...to die for!).
Sleep.
6:30 am up and getting ready for the 9am mass at St. Patricks Cathedral. Too funny! It was the Polaska Day Parade(Polish parade and 1/2 the mass was in polish, LOL).
10:30 reservations at "Tavern on the Green". Absolutely delicious! The rooms are so beautiful.
Then a perfect weather day to walk home. Through Central Park, past the Boat House and the pool where you can rent small motorized boats to race around. Over to 5th Ave to Museum Mile where on Sunday local artist sell their items. Continuing home to get things together to get ready to leave.
After a 45 minute cab ride, sure to miss their train, we arrived Penn Station to find that their train was 15 minutes delayed.
I got home and slept for 3 hours.
A great weekend was had by all.
